For the third consecutive summer, MassBay Community College and Framingham High School are collaborating to host an automotive technology summer boot camp aimed at bolstering the pipeline of trained technicians in the automotive industry. This initiative is made possible through funding from a grant provided by Framingham Public Schools, MassBay, and Youth Connections/MassHire.
The boot camp offers participants a unique opportunity to engage in a three-week, hands-on intensive workshop designed to equip them with essential skills and knowledge in automotive technology. Students will have the chance to work closely with experienced instructors and industry professionals, gaining practical experience that is invaluable in today's job market.
By focusing on real-world applications and current industry standards, the program seeks to inspire a new generation of automotive technicians. As the demand for skilled workers in this field continues to rise, initiatives like this boot camp are crucial in preparing students for successful careers in automotive technology.
