Micron Technology's fair value estimate has been lifted from $584.62 to $866.60, a sizable reset of where some analysts think the stock now sits. That shift reflects research arguing that AI driven demand and a tight memory market, especially in DRAM and high bandwidth memory, are already playing a central role in Micron Technology's story, while others question how much optimism is already priced in.
The revised valuation comes as the memory chip maker positions itself as a key supplier for artificial intelligence workloads. High bandwidth memory, used in AI accelerators, has become a premium product with limited supply. Analysts point to Micron's growing share of that market as a driver for revenue growth that was not fully accounted for in earlier models.
But not everyone is convinced the stock has room to run. Some analysts warn that current prices already reflect strong demand expectations. If AI spending slows or memory prices soften, the upside could shrink quickly. The debate now centers on whether Micron can sustain its momentum or if the market has gotten ahead of itself.
For now, the higher fair value estimate gives bulls a new target. But with memory markets known for boom and bust cycles, the question of how much growth is already baked into the stock remains open.
